Profile and History

The Riemann Center for Geometry and Physics is a Research Initiative at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Leibniz Universität Hannover.

It aims to foster joint research by mathematicians and physicists into geometry and spacetime and to provide a discussion forum for its members, international guest scientists and the public. As such, it merges activities of the former Cluster of Excellence QUEST and the Research Training Group Analysis, Geometry and String Theory which have been present at the Leibniz Universität since 2007 and 2008, respectively.

Riemann Fellows and Visitors

External junior and senior scientists may visit the Riemann Center as Riemann Fellows and Riemann Visitors, respectively.
