Riemann 200: Mathematics and Physics

The Riemann Center organizes a conference to celebrate the 200th birthday of Bernhard Riemann.

The conference will take place at Leibniz University Hannover, March 16-20, 2026. Plenary talks will be given by:

  • Tilman Sauer (Mainz)
  • Anna Wienhard (MIS, Leipzig)

In addition there will be  four afternoon sections:
"Analysis and Partial Differential Equations", "Differential Geometry", "Mathematical Physics", and "Riemann surfaces, abelian varieties, and moduli spaces".
